The Wessex Branch has a number of keen volunteers that sit on its' committee!

We have held a number of successful events over the last three years and have tried to spread them over our vast region (Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and Wiltshire) to give members the opportunity to attend events at a location more convenient. As part of our vision, Wessex aim to get more involved with education, promoting biology into schools and universitys through volunteers giving talks and hosting local award ceremonys for the popular BBO (British Biological Olympiad).

In the end, success is down to the enthusiasm and support of you, so if you can help out or know of someone who could spare a few hours to give a talk, please contact us at Wessex@societyofbiology.org!
