Welcome to the new Wessex Branch

The Wessex Branch has now been re-formed and a number of keen volunteers now sit on this new committee!

Now that the Wessex Branch is up and running, we have a number of events planned over the next year with the aim of promoting biological sciences to all our members.

We would like to thank all those who have completed the online questionnaire and urge those who have not yet had the time to complete it, to please do so. You can find the link on the right hand side of this page.

The intention is to hold events around the regions (Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and Wiltshire) thereby giving all members the opportunity to attend events at a location more convenient but in the end, success is down to the enthusiasm and support of you!

We held our first event in June which was very successful. A number of members and non members attended with a total attendance of around 60 people. Thank you to all those who came along, it was great to see you all! Please help us to make your branch thrive and be a credit to the Society of Biology by continuing to support us; as always, suggestions are welcome.
