Future Morph: Careers for 11-19

Future Morph is designed to show you just some of the amazing and unexpected careers that studying science, technology, engineering and maths can lead to.

Launched in November 2008 by the Science Council as part of the 'Careers from Science initiative', Future Morph is also a collaborative project with other organisations including the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

It aims to show young people the wide range of science, technological, engineering and mathematical careers available and how studying science beyond the age of 16 can teach skills and knowledge which are invaluable in almost any vocation.

The website contains resources and careers guidance for different occupations, profiles of people who have followed science related vocations as well as quizzes and games designed to encourage young people to think about where their future might lie.

It is divided into sections by age, 11-14, 14-16 and 16-19+ and there are pages for parents, teachers and careers staff.

Teaching Resource Poster

The Science Council has produced a new poster to promote the Future Morph careers website and raise awareness of the job opportunities available from science and maths related subjects. The A1 poster features a range of people working in STEM and the reverse is designed as a blank template for your students to create their own version of the poster with images they find themselves.

To request copies of the poster contact Rachel Forsyth or visit the Future Morph Website.
