2011
2011 marked the tenth Cheltenham Science Festival, and the Festival got in the party spirit with more eXplosive, eXciting and mind-eXpanding events than ever before with the festival theme of ‘X’. The theme inspired a series of events exploring of all things X-related – from X-men to X chromosomes. The programme looked back over the past ten years as it delved into the advances in science since the first Festival in 2002 – and looked ahead to the science of the future with cutting edge research and debates.
The Society supported the British Society for Immunology, the Society for Endocrinology, the Physiological Society, the British Pharmacological Society, the British Neuroscience Association and the British Association of Psychopharmacology as sponsors of the following events at the 2011 festival.
