Biology in the Real World

The ASE Annual Conference, the leading science education CPD event of the year, is open to everyone with an interest in science education - ASE members and non-members. It attracts over 3000 science educators from all phases of science education who can choose from over 400 talks, workshops, seminars and booked courses over four inspiring days.

The Nucleus Group, a group of learned societies & similar not for profit organisations which includes the Society of Biology host a series of talks each year entitled, 'Biology in the Real World.'

In 2012, in recognition of the Olympics taking place in the UK, the Nucleus Group hosted a series of talks on 'Biology in the Real World: A Sporting Chance' and below you can find PowerPoints of the Presentations.
