Primary Support: Gopher Science Lab

In conjunction the Biochemical Society we are piloting a new event called "Gopher Science Lab", where we will invite six teams of inquisitive primary school students and their teachers to a local secondary school for science demonstrations and fun.

We hope to eventually provide resources to secondary schools which will allow them to host these events themselves.

Pilot Gopher Science Club goes off with a bang!

Despite the snow, on Friday 10th February David Lidington MP joined 40 excited and inquisitive 8 year olds at Aylesbury Grammar School as they learnt to suck eggs into bottles, skewer balloons, make an ocean in a bottle, and use chromatography to solve crimes.To read more about the event click here.
