Researchers in Residence: Engaging tomorrow’s talent today!
Researchers in Residence helps to enrich the curriculum by taking real-life research into host secondary schools.
Early-stage researchers, passionate about their subject, work with classroom teachers to deliver fun, innovative and relevant projects, including classroom demonstrations, discussions and debates and university visits to motivate students, provide deep learning experiences and explore going to university and future careers options.
Researchers in Residence is free and available to all UK secondary schools and sixth form colleges. Register online at www.researchersinresidence.ac.uk
The scheme is funded by Research Councils UK and supported by the Wellcome Trust.
