Before submitting an application please ensure you have reviewed the requirements for each grade of membership, details can be found by clicking Membership Grades on the menu to the left. 

To begin your online application please click start online application. We elect new members during December, March, June and September. The Society of Biology Council is responsible for electing new members. We will keep you informed with the progress of your application.

The next election will take place on 22nd March 2012.
