Event Summary
An informal half-day workshop organised by the Society of Biology that is primarily for members and representatives of Member Organisations that are interested in curriculum development and wish to find out how to have input into the various stages of specification development, focusing on GCSE and A level.
Event description
The workshop will address questions such as:
- Who decides what should be taught and examined at various levels?
- What are programmes of study, criteria, specifications? Who sets them and when?
- What is OFQUAL and what is its role?
- What is SCORE’s involvement in the process?
- How can I/my organisation have input into specification development?
Workshop places are strictly limited and priority will be given to Society of Biology members and members of Society of Biology member organisations.
