Help shape the future of our Professional Society with your ideas
The Thames Valley Branch of the Society of Biology is pleased to invite you to meet the Chief Executive Officer of the Society of Biology, Dr Mark Downs FSB.
The Society of Biology represents diverse areas of interest in the Biological Sciences and this networking event offers the ideal opportunity for colleagues to raise new ideas and discuss how, as a Society, we can build bridges to policy, education and the advancement of professional development.
Biology has the potential for significant impact on society, from biomedical science to agricultural and many other aspects of research, associated with understanding our environment in a time of global change.
Dr Mark Downs, his colleagues and members of the Society of Biology, are evolving the Society to be a proactive voice representative of the many biological professionals within its membership, from industry, healthcare and all levels of teaching, academia and research.
Please join us for this opportunity to discuss the many developments being made by the Society of Biology and our future role as professional biologists.
