Event Summary

Professor Andrew Newby PhD, FSB (British Heart Foundation Professor) and Dr Tom Johnson MD, FRCP (Consultant Cardiologist) from the Bristol Heart Institute at the Bristol Royal Infirmary will give a lecture on the human coronary artery.

Event description

Professor Newby and Dr Johnson will give a lecture entitled "Cracking and Fracking in the human coronary artery - how to beat and treat heart attacks".

The lecture is free and will take place in Lecture Theatre 1, School of Chemistry, University of Bristol, Cantocks Close, BS8 1TS. The doors of the lecture theatre will be open from 5:00 pm.

Following the lecture refreshments will be served in the foyer outside the lecture theatre.
