Member Price: £5.00
Non-Member Price: £
Event type: Lunch
Event Summary
Lunchtime meeting allowing retired members to meet, enjoy a good meal and discuss the biological news, ideas and events.
Event description
The Branch Committee are repeating their well attended venture for retired members.
They had noted that “retired” members make a very significant contribution to both the operation of the branch’s activities and support at various events.
We have organised a 3 course LUNCH for retired members, and one guest.
Be reassured, the meals are excellent as the restaurant offers very high quality, rated by some the best in Leeds. It is very well appointed. The college trains for the full range of food provision and the restaurant has all the facilities expected including an extensive wine list, bar service with draught beers etc.
See www.leedsthomasdanby.ac.uk/about/socialandbusiness.cfm or www.hi-life.co.uk/newsite/details.asp?id=2517
As it is a training college, the menu varies daily but will always be of a high standard with a choice to be ordered on the day.
We intend to restrict numbers to 40 on this occasion.
Very final closing date: Friday 29th October 2010.
This is a relaxed informal occasion that offers an opportunity for like minded biologists to get together and raise any issues that may assist the branch and its activities further.
Cost is £5/person.
Cheques to be made payable to Thomas Danby College and sent to the local organiser
Cliff Beddows. (Tel 0113 2688231 and email cbeddows@onetel.com.)
