Gold Medal for Society Fellow

Congratulations are in order for Michael New OBE CBiol FSB. He was announced as the recipient of the prestigious gold medal award of the Asian Fisheries Society at the Asian Fisheries Forum in Shanghai on 21st April 2011. Mr New has a long career in aquaculture and is the founder of the charity Aquaculture without Frontiers. In 2010 he also received a gold medal, this time from the World Aquaculture Society, for exemplary services to the field.
