Increased number of entries for separate sciences at GCSE

The Society of Biology is pleased to see that the GCSE results for 2010 show a continued movement into separate sciences, with biology entries up 28% (from 100,905 in 2009 to 129,494) ; chemistry entries up by 32% (from 92,246 in 2009 to 121,988) and physics up by 32%.(from 91,179 in 2009 to 120,455).
