CEO meets select committee chair

Mark Downs FSB, CEO of the Society of Biology, met Mr Phil Willis MP, Chair of the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee this month. The Committee exists to ensure that Government policy and decision-making are based on good scientific and engineering advice and evidence. Mr Willis welcomed the formation of the Society of Biology and stressed the Committee's long-standing interest in its development.
