New Chair of Animal License Holders Accreditation Board
We are pleased to announce that the Society of Biology Council has appointed Mr Fraser Darling as the new Chairman of the Animal License Holders Accreditation Board. Mr Darling is the Director of Biological Services at the Institute of Cancer Research and has been an active member of the Accreditation Board for several years. He replaces Professor Paul Brain who stood down following an exceptional service of over 20 years on the committee. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Professor Brain for this distinguished contribution.
The Accreditation Board is an important working committee, of the Society. It is recognised by the Home Office for accrediting training courses for personnel operating under the requirements of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986.
