Career Talks

Many thanks to those members who responded to the request for volunteers to talk to schools and colleges in our area. As we had only a few requests we shall only be able to accept some offers, but we  shall keep a list of willing speakers against future requests. This is an excellent way to inspire young biologists.

We were disappointed that, after asking for our support none of the establishments actually carried through and arranged dates. 

Within the branch we would like to find someone who would be able to follow through on this type of request and co-ordinate requests and volunteers so that we might make the most of these outreach opportunities.
