The Society of Biology welcomes call for more open conversations about GM
Dr Mark Downs FSB, chief executive of the Society of Biology said: “I hope that the opportunity is seized, for a progressive and constructive debate about food, farming and the environment.
A leading UK forum bringing together scientists, policy-makers, business, industry and others, to discuss how the ecosystem approach might be implemented in practice.
The group represents the broad spectrum of UK bodies across academia, industry, charity and research. They are actively involved in supporting and formulating policy involving animal research.
The UK Plant Sciences Federation (UKPSF) brings together the plant science community in the UK to create a coordinated approach to research, industry, funding, education and outreach.
