  Mountain hay meadows – economic, social and environmental value

  This conference will bring together experts and practitioners to discuss and improve the valuation, appreciation, conservation and sustainable management of hay meadows.

  Yorkshire branch - Joint lecture with Royal Society of Chemistry

  Location : Department of Chemistry, University of York, Heslington, York, YO10 5DD

  This year the annual meeting jointly arranged with the local branch of the RSC will feature Professor Tony Hardy discussing European Food Safety. It will be hosted at the chemistry department of the University of York and attendance is free.

  18th Society of Biology Annual Scottish Teachers’ Meeting: Taking Biology Forward

  Location : Grand Hotel, Glasgow

  The aim of the meeting is to inspire, challenge, and motivate the network of biology teachers, corporate supporters, and community partners in Scotland and to increase the visibility of the Society of Biology and the Scotland branch. The Society of Biology celebrates academic achievement and will present awards to those who achieved the highest marks in the SQA examinations in biological subjects.
