28 SepLocation : Babraham Institute, Babraham Research Campus, CambridgeThe evening will consist of an introduction to the work of the Institute and Babraham Bioscience Technologies (BBT) Ltd, the commercial arm of the Institute, which manages Babraham’s Bioincubator where around 30 early-stage biomedical enterprises are based. This will be followed by talks on specific aspects of the Institute’s research work.

13 OctLocation : University of WorcesterThe West Midlands Branch will be holding its AGM at the University of Worcester on Wednesday 13th October 2010 at 7.00pm. This will be followed by an excellent talk with the tantalising title of Botany of Gin. This will involve refreshments, including a gin tasting session. The talk starts after the AGM.
